The collection opened for sale July 2025. According to the builder, sales were slow for the first few weeks and then picked up as they completed some homes for quick move in.  Since opening, Pulte has sold 18 as of March 2026. Base prices start at $479,990.

Hummingbird Crossing is located just minutes from shopping, retail, and the Gissberg Twin Lakes and beaches. Designed to be attainable, the community includes detached villas, which this feature will focus on (in gray on the site plan), as well as townhomes, highlighted in light blue on the site plan. The team designed the villas for first-time home buyers who are renting and want to get into a home.  This homebuyer prefers a single-family detached home with no shared walls despite the small square footage.

The team’s goal was to provide a line of plan layouts that are both attainable and flexible enough to meet the needs of a variety of families and lifestyles. The architectural style is a fresh take on the farmhouse and craftsman influence that speaks to their buyers in this region. The tour starts with the Fir plan.

All the Villa plans come standard with 1-car garages. According to the builders, these have been well received in part because of the full 2-car wide driveways. The team is seeing a lot of larger SUVs and trucks that utilize the drive. Many of the homeowners seem to want to use their garage for storage, a home gym, a workshop, or even a play area and park their cars in the drive.

The Fir plan is 1,024 square feet with 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a 1-car garage. Highlights include the ground-floor main living areas in a narrow footprint, as well as the spacious loft. The home is 26 feet wide. According to the builder, buyers prefer the two-story Villa plans to the three-story plans due to less stairs and lower price points, however the three-story plans are still selling due to their bedroom and bath count.
